Letchworth State Park

During my first week of residency, my co-resident and I joined the first year Emergency Medicine medical residents to a retreat at Letchworth State Park. It is a roughly 14,000 acre state park located in Livingston and Wyoming counties, NY, following the course of the Genesee River. This is the Lower Falls of the Genesee River. My co-resident and I arrived at the camp site early enough which gave us time to go explore. And since I’ve never been there before, we went off course to get as close as we could to the water. I learned to skip rocks on the Genesee River. It was amazing!
