This is the Physics building tower on my campus, to which a foucault pendulum is attached to. It was a sunny day, which was rare and the way the sun rays went through the tower caught my eyes. The building was designed by the renowned architect Cesar Pelli. The purpose of the foucault pendulum is to demonstrate the rotation of the earth.
